On November 17-20, 2023, the "2023 International Symposium on Cryobiology and Living Biobanking (CBLB2023)" was co-hosted by Central South University, the School of Basic Medicine of Central South University, and co-organized by institutions such as the Furong Laboratory at the Century Golden Source Hotel in Changsha.

Professor Weidong Tian, founder and chief scientist of Chengdu Shiliankangjian Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and professor of West China Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University, was invited to attend this conference and delivered an academic presentation during the event.

This conference gathered nearly a hundred renowned experts, scholars, and industry representatives from 12 countries, contributing over 70 academic presentations. It focused on 12 main themes including cutting-edge technologies in cryobiology and biobanking, as well as relevant legal regulations on human genetic resource management. The event aimed to promote industry exchange, information sharing, and collaborative exploration of the future development of biobanks.
