The world's first clinical study of periodontal treatment with dental follicle stem cells

◆ Launched in 2020 and jointly West China College of Stomatology with Peking University Stomatology Hospital, “Evaluation of the safety and efficacy of allogeneic dental follicles and stem cells in the treatment of periodontal bone defects: a parallel, prospective, randomized, controlled, human multicenter clinical study”.

◆ Three batches of dental 2021 stem cells from the P2, P5 and P10 generations have passed the quality check of the Chinese Institute for Food and drug control (SH202200617, SH202110409, SH202110410) ;

◆ In 2022, the study of allogeneic dental follicle stem cells in the treatment of periodontal bone defects was registered by the National Health Commission, which initiated the first clinical study of dental follicle stem cells in the world.
