At the meeting, Zhang Jingyi, head of the preparatory team of the Joint Trade Union, made a report on the preparatory work of the Joint Trade Union to the General Assembly, which considered and adopted the agenda of the General Assembly, the method of election of the General Assembly, the list of proposed candidates for the membership of the Trade Union Committee and the chairmanship of the Expenditure Review Committee, and carried out the democratic election in strict accordance with the organizational procedures and principles, by secret ballot.

Through the election, Zhang Jingyi was elected as the chairman of the trade union, Zhang Youshushi was elected as the director of the financial review committee, Zhang Geling was elected as the director of the female workers' committee, Dai Shishi was elected as a member of the life and welfare of the members, and Li Fanghao was elected as a member of the organization and propaganda of the members, and the results were reported to the higher level trade unions for approval after the meeting.

On behalf of the first session of the newly elected trade union chairman, Comrade Zhang Jingyi expressed her gratitude to all the employees for their trust and support, and put forward four goals for the future work of the trade union: first, to closely contact the masses, and to become a “family member” and “mother's family” that the employees rely on. Firstly, to closely contact with the public and become the “family” and “mother's family” on which the employees rely, and actively reflect the opinions, wishes, demands and suggestions of the employees to the company. Secondly, to establish and improve the supervision and guarantee mechanism to protect the legitimate interests of employees. Thirdly, we care for the workers, do practical things for them, solve problems for them, realize their hardships, listen to their voices, transmit warmth, help them in need, and care for female workers. Fourthly, we actively carry out healthy cultural and sports activities to enhance the cohesion and centripetal force of the labor union.
